We verify the leather type, texture, grain pattern and aging characteristics. Authentic luxury leather has very specific qualities that cannot be replicated.

Every stitch is counted and inspected. Authentic pieces have perfectly even, tight stitching with specific thread colors unique to each brand.

We inspect all metal hardware — zippers, clasps, rings and feet. Authentic hardware has specific weight, finish and engravings that fakes cannot replicate.

We verify all date codes and serial numbers. Each code confirms exactly when and where a bag was made and confirms its authenticity.

We check lining material, pocket construction, interior stamps and labels — all critical indicators of authenticity.

After passing all checks, the bag receives our certificate of authenticity. If ever found to be inauthentic, full refund guaranteed.
